pretty plain huh?
ask anyone who really knows me and they'll tell you this is my style.
another favorite plain look would be with a white t shirt (!)
black, blue, leopard and 2 rolls of the cuff.
have a wonderful weekend.

I'm with you. Plain and quiet, for the most past. BTW, rock on with your killer bod. Represent for women over 50. Somehow I think you could be famous, if you wanted to:).
ReplyDeleteI agree. Somehow I think she could too. In my eyes, she already is!

plain? Gorgeous as always!
ReplyDeleteI'm a plain and quiet dresser as well, always have been and it's still what I like best. You could also go wild and wear a heather gray tee shirt with it :)
ReplyDeleteYes it's all about the body, you look amazing.
ReplyDeletePretty flattering I'd say! You make plain look awesome.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
I love this look and I am with Tabitha, simple shapes and neutral colors draw attention to your face and body. Not everybody can pull off this look but you certainly rock it, you are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOMG I have this exact outfit, down to the shoes! Plain is my style too. The nice thing about plain is that you hardly ever look back at old pictures of yourself and think "WTH was I thinking??"
ReplyDeleteJuanita, with your looks and body you could never look "plain". You rock jeans and I love those shoes.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend, you fabulous lady! xxx
I would describe it as classic. Looks great. Jeans and t-shirt is pretty much my uniform too.
ReplyDeleteSporty, classic and chic. Simple, not plain. You look terrific.
ReplyDeleteThis is my style too. It's also comfortable and presentable.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone plain on you is fabulous because you are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePlain???? Never. Gorgeous? Always.

Juanita!
ReplyDeletePlain is not a word that applies to you, ever! I love your clean and simple look...let's your beauty shine through.
xo, A
Janet,
ReplyDeleteWow what great shape you're in!
Have you ever been approached to do some modeling? You so could.
I don't think I've seen these shoes before...they look vintage. Who makes them?
They're cute...I'd wear them too.
thank you lovely leslie, but no i would never make a model. larry is just a great photographer.
Deletethe shoes are my vegan oxfords from payless that i got last year.
Simple is my style too. I wore almost the same thing yesterday. I added a camel boyfriend cardigan for the cooler morning/evening.
ReplyDeletePlain is my style too Juanita. I'd wear a white tee and jeans every day if I could. I love it!
ReplyDeleteCame back to add that you look great, it's my favorite look on you. Very cool shoes.
ReplyDeleteJanet, Those are my all-time favorite kind of shoes! I call them nun shoes. So chic and so comfy!
ReplyDeletePlease tell us how you keep your arms looking like that?
ReplyDeletei do yoga 3 x a week. i think that helps. :)
DeleteYour hairdo is the cat's pajamas. It reminds me of the Louise Brooks bob ~ a glamour girl do that kicks casual threads up a notch. You look so cute and polished.

Not plain. Understated.
ReplyDeleteThe leopard must be the belt, huh? (My computer is my iPad;picture's kinda little.) Cute shoes! Happy weekend to all!
ReplyDeleteYou still look amazing and classy...but I gotta ask...have you gained some weight? I don't mean it in any wrong way (is there even a "right" way to ask someone if they have gained weight?..probably NOT!) but can't help but notice.
ReplyDeletethank you. i don't think so.
DeleteAnonymous- I gotta ask..have you gained any manners? I don't mean it the wrong way but I can't help but notice your lack of them.
DeleteHo. Hum.
ReplyDeleteZzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
"Ho. Hum.
DeleteZzzzzzzzzzzzzz"?!?
I love reading your comments!
Yet you can't stay away ...
Can't help but read comments ... and comment.
Jealous or crush? It's one or the other.
I have been a reader of your blog for a few months, but this is my first time commenting. The serene simplicity with which you portray your life is inspiring and meditatively calming. I don't follow many blogs (I find a lot of them to be rather frantic in their wonderfulness), but yours is truly a gem. Ever thought of writing a book?
ReplyDeletethank you linda. no, i've never thought of writing a book. a blog is hard enough!
Delete'Plain' lets the person shine through, and too much attention to fashion or 'putting together' an outfit is just embarrassing, in my book! You look great!
ReplyDeleteDenim and black is my favorite combo.
ReplyDeleteWe need to know about the shoes. Have we seen them before?
ReplyDeletethese are the payless oxfords i bought last year.
DeleteYou look terrific. My style is pretty basic too. I don't have your shape though, so you wear it much cuter. Love black with jeans.
ReplyDeleteLooking good sister.
ReplyDeleteEveryone in Paris was wearing narrow pants and all the men were wearing rolled cuffs but not the women!
xo Terri
you always look great!. but do you ever wear jewellery? i think you would look even better with the addition of something, say a necklace or scarf
ReplyDeleteRemember the cuffs you used to wear? Turquoise I think. I even went out to get some. Still loking for a particular type though.
ReplyDeletePerhaps plain, but very stylish :-)!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Sunday,
Madelief x
I think I love this.
