last night i went to the show with some friends and got home late.
i was really hungry but didn't want to stop for fast food so i put on a pot of water to boil while i took a bath. a few minutes later i was eating a yummy plate of pasta.
nothing special - but it's what i ate.
only 3 more days of this month long what i ate thing.
aren't you glad it's almost over?

I've enjoyed the series....it's an inspiration
ReplyDeleteNo! I eat the same 5 dinners on rotation I am so so boring.
ReplyDeleteAs an aspiring vegan, I like to see what you are eating. I've also noticed your portion sizes -- far more appropriate than mine. I recall your post about shedding some weight, and you addressed the matter of portions. I need to revisit.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I've really enjoyed the series too. I'll agree with Gina that I've noticed your portions seem small...perhaps right sized. Tell me you sometimes have seconds.
ReplyDeleteNot really ... I think we all find it interesting. Maybe you can keep it going? Unless you're tired of it.

I also had pasta last night...yummy
ReplyDeleteThe food posts have been a pleasure.
ReplyDeleteI'm still eating your white bistro chili enchiladas from our Thanksgiving dinner

With some guacamole on the side.

I must have missed your posts b/c I only saw a few of what you ate. I enjoyed every one of them. I noticed your portion size too. Mine are much larger and I'm always hungry.
ReplyDeleteWhat can we look forward to in December?

troublemaker!
DeleteI have enjoyed it. Quick question though. While im not vegan, i try to eat more meals without animal protein. We were talking about it at work and i mentioned pasta and was quickly 'shut down' when it was mentioned that pasta is made with eggs. Do you eat vegan pasta? I have never purchased it.
ReplyDeletemost pasta today is made w/o eggs. the exception would be egg noodles. just check the label to be sure.:)
DeleteWhat would you have eaten if you had stopped for fast food? What are the vegan options?
ReplyDeletethere is a fast food joint (bakers) here in town that has a vegetarian/vegan menu. i would have gotten the vegetarian tacos w/o cheese. they are not bad. prob a side of fries too. but both are greasy.:)
DeleteMy favorite supper is pasta with garlic heated in olive oil with a bit of fresh parmesan grated on top...and maybe a fresh tomato thrown in. Supper doesn't have to be fancy to be perfect!

This is also one of my favorite things to eat. A little pasta...a little sauce, and dinner.
ReplyDeleteI eat less nowadays. I am satisfied with less the older I get. :)
My favorite thing to eat when I don't want to make anything is chickpea salad on 12 grain bread with cucumber and red peppers on it with a pickle....that is some fine dining...LOL

Even though November is almost over, please continue to share recipes from time to time (just like you have in the past). You have shared some great food, and I still want more from you! So don't stop, pretty please?
ReplyDeleteWow, that's dedication. to your followers and to your health. I can't believe you took the time to take pictures late night when you're hungry.
ReplyDeleteThis looks yummy. I especially like pasta after an exercise class when I'm starving and want to eat as soon as possible. Thank you for your compliment on my minidress on Vix's blog. If you note the boots I'm wearing that day - they're vegan!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy this month, I think I alredy miss it before it's over. 'was a nice month!
