plain

pretty plain huh?
ask anyone who really knows me and they'll tell you this is my style.

another favorite plain look would be with a white t shirt (!)

black, blue, leopard and 2 rolls of the cuff.

have a wonderful weekend.

  1. I'm with you. Plain and quiet, for the most past. BTW, rock on with your killer bod. Represent for women over 50. Somehow I think you could be famous, if you wanted to:).

  2. I'm a plain and quiet dresser as well, always have been and it's still what I like best. You could also go wild and wear a heather gray tee shirt with it :)

  5. I love this look and I am with Tabitha, simple shapes and neutral colors draw attention to your face and body. Not everybody can pull off this look but you certainly rock it, you are gorgeous!

  6. OMG I have this exact outfit, down to the shoes! Plain is my style too. The nice thing about plain is that you hardly ever look back at old pictures of yourself and think "WTH was I thinking??"

  7. Juanita, with your looks and body you could never look "plain". You rock jeans and I love those shoes.

  8. I would describe it as classic. Looks great. Jeans and t-shirt is pretty much my uniform too.

  14. Janet,
Wow what great shape you're in!
Have you ever been approached to do some modeling? You so could.

I don't think I've seen these shoes before...they look vintage. Who makes them?
    They're cute...I'd wear them too.

  20. Your hairdo is the cat's pajamas. It reminds me of the Louise Brooks bob ~ a glamour girl do that kicks casual threads up a notch. You look so cute and polished.

  22. You still look amazing and classy...but I gotta ask...have you gained some weight? I don't mean it in any wrong way (is there even a "right" way to ask someone if they have gained weight?..probably NOT!) but can't help but notice.

  24. I have been a reader of your blog for a few months, but this is my first time commenting. The serene simplicity with which you portray your life is inspiring and meditatively calming. I don't follow many blogs (I find a lot of them to be rather frantic in their wonderfulness), but yours is truly a gem. Ever thought of writing a book?

  25. 'Plain' lets the person shine through, and too much attention to fashion or 'putting together' an outfit is just embarrassing, in my book! You look great!

  28. You look terrific. My style is pretty basic too. I don't have your shape though, so you wear it much cuter. Love black with jeans.

  29. Looking good sister.

Everyone in Paris was wearing narrow pants and all the men were wearing rolled cuffs but not the women!

  31. Remember the cuffs you used to wear? Turquoise I think. I even went out to get some. Still loking for a particular type though.
