flowers in my house

Jane has asked to see what flowers I have in my house.
She's so darn loveable, how could I say no?

Making a strong showing in the garden this week, we have Stargazer lilies, Sage, Fern and Hydrangea.

Moving to the other side of the room we have freeze dried moss topiaries and some coral.

And in the middle there is a very healthy Swedish Ivy just doing its thang.

Pop over to see what everyone else is growing...

Small but so very Charming

  2. Good Morning!
Love all the green and white in your room. It totally compliments the already beautifulness. :)

The heat wave must not have reached your gardens yet. I'm sick at how the heat has killed so many of my flowers and vegetables. oh well, the circle of nature.....

xo I'm thinking of having a flower garden/little shop in GA. maybe.

  3. You must take great pride in walking into your living room as it truly is a beautiful space. So well thought out and the way that you have decorated is sheer perfection. I love your floral arrangement too and thank you for the link to Jane I am now following her blog.

  10. I love your house! I wanna move in! Someday when my kids are off to college I will try to decorate like you. Right now while slipcovers with 2 boys (12 & 8) seems a bad idea. Thanks for sharing :)

  18. I see a doggie treat by the window.. Love all the gorgeous flowers. The heat in Texas crucifies any flowers other than wild flowers.
Pretty but not so elegant as stargazers and hydrangeas. Love your garden.
Being a Brit by birth, I have to say " good job" to the Royal couple.

  19. Everything is lovely, Janet! Your small changes have made a big difference. So refreshing. Did you paint the cabinet a darker blue? It matches the blue and white perfectly.

  21. i totally love your house and the way you style it - and your lovely self! one question though...however do you take your photos without your reflection showing?
i'm afraid we are not disciplined enough to keep our space so uncluttered. piles of stuff seem to breed in our house. i live vicariously through you! love Suzie xxx

  25. Your flower arrangement is so elegant. I really like it a lot. Brilliant idea on using a tripod and kneeling down to avoid including yourself in the photos. I have to try that.
