julie's signature bracelet
Today I'm partnering with Julie Lorusso from Monkey Grass Hill and having my very first giveaway. Julie is one of the nicest, sweetest bloggers I have met and writes a fantastic blog that chronicles the goings on at her gorgeous home and garden. In addition to that, she is a very talented jewelry designer. Her designs are simple and have an organic quality that I love.
Now all you have to do to enter is go to her website here and take a look around. The prize is her signature piece, a bracelet made of freshwater pearls with a sterling clasp and a healing stone of your choice. OR you can apply the price of this bracelet to any other piece you like. She also does custom designs and she makes men's jewelry too. She has made my son some beautiful healing pendants and bracelets. I don't know if you believe in the power of healing stones or not but I do. One of the great things Julie does is explain the healing properties of the stones she uses in her designs. Wearing her jewelry is not only beautiful, but empowering.
So go look around and come back and leave me a comment saying which piece you like and you will be entered into the contest. You do not have to become a follower of my blog or hers to enter. If you comment anonymously then you need to include your name. The winner will be chosen on Friday, September 3rd. They say gifting someone a crystal is like offering a healing. Thank you Julie, for this offer.

Dear Janet, What lovely pieces of modern jewellery and very clearly made by a very talented and creative person. How generous of you to have a 'give away' and what fun! Sadly, please do not include me as I hardly know where I am at present and I should hate any winnings [some hope!!] to go astray.
ReplyDeleteedith - you are so sweet to comment and not enter. you are a true gem!

P.S. I keep thinking that if she made her signature bracelet with blue pearls and a peridot stone...it would be magnificent! I might have to contact her to make me one of those....
How much do you love owning "one of a kinds?" I loved her signature bracelet, but also loved the "2 in 1" bracelet made out of the vintage necklace. I'm thinking about putting a little gold in my fall wardrobe...
ReplyDeleteI took one look at the signature bracelet you've pictured and my brain went "ding!" I love pearls. Oh gawd I love pearls. And I especially love pearls done this simply. Your friend makes some beautiful jewelry. Oh there it goes again, "ding!" Gotta tamp down the "want it" bell, very distracting!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow. So pretty & powerful. I love the crystals & vintage pieces that Julie uses.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog.
Have a great day. Melissa Bowles (Alex and I work together...)

How amazing is her stuff!! I absolutely fell in love with her 2 in 1 with the jade charm. It is to die for! Hope you are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! I am a bracelet girl at heart and the signature piece is lovely. Any woman would feel special wearing it, including me.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Would love a signature bracelet with a healing crystal. Thanks for thinking of us.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the varied heft of the stones, and the luscious clack-click as I coil a bracelet in my palm...the pieces are truly a fine balance of earth and enchantment! After passing through the whole gallery of favorite stones, the green tones sing out to me; perhaps a lucky peridot sparkle to anchor the elegant signature bracelet. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove the bracelet as shown...great with my summer linen.
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I would gift it to a dear friend who is fighting the cancer fight so gracefully. She loves earrings. I know she would love any of your designs (julie)
ReplyDeleteShe misses working in the garden -
