  1. Love your Pendelton blanket!
I wish I still had one of my reversible pleated Pendelton skirts. They were smashing back in the day . . .

  2. I love your style here, if I lived in less of an urban environment I would love to dress like this.

  3. What a perfect ode to Sunday, Janet. I enjoy the tidying up and getting prepared aspect of Sundays. And spending most of the day at home in my yoga pants and slippers is pretty great, too. xo

  4. I bet you could too.

I love the blue tones in your outfit here with the lace-up black boots, perfect outdoor style.

I'm on my way out to a party for a friend, and I don't want to miss it, but staying in, watching the football, making soup and baking bread, that sounds divine!

  5. Yay! You linked a Butternut soup recipe...it is exactly what I wanted today--was just getting ready to find a recipe for it. Do you think almond milk would work instead of soy? xxBliss

  10. The soup is fait accompli. It was super good but guess what? I didn't have celery or sage so I substituted ginger and cinnamon. Loved it! Thanks for helping with dinner tonight. : )

  11. You look so relaxed, and I love your slow paced ideas for a perfect day.

I think a day of rest is the ultimate luxury.

I am prepping dinner at a leisurely pace wearing my cozy slippers and listening to the CBC.

Janet your blog posts are pure magic.

  16. I missed my nap today. But I'm glad to know you indulge also.

The synapses between my brain and fingers are off, clearly. I reread my comment on your last post???

I think I meant that even if you can't get him in a jacket, he's still decked out in American Apparel, not Sears and Roebuck!

Whew, that was exhausting. Off to bed.

  17. Thanks for that lovely post because you've just helped me realise how Sundays can be, instead of waking up with a weight on your chest because you know you have to go back to work the next day. I'm on the cusp of making a job change and you've made me realise it's the right way to go.

  26. Gorgeous Autumny post Janet.. particularly like the sound of the butternut squash too.
And from your previous one, so LOVE the photos of you and Larry and how you are looking at him with such adoration. Gorgeous. (Or, from Mr SE "Gorgeous, Lovey!!" - who does have a tweed jacket - he doesn't wear it that often but does don his slim line jeans most weekends).XXX
