Beige is atmosphere. It's bisque, it's ivory, it's cream, it's stone, it's toast, it's cappuccino. It's, well, it's magic. ~Albert Hadley
(That beautiful quote being said, my living room is in the process of being painted. Everything is a mess and I'm almost sorry I started this project. Arghhh!)
I think your room is beautiful! But I know the feeling so well. These floors just about did me in ! I want to thank you for the sweet note on my decorating style. I just do what I like and try to stay away from trends. French Country is one of my favorite styles and I am glad that you could see that . I can't wait to see what all you do. Don't let me miss it. p.s. the mural is painted on ... a gift from my husband.
ReplyDeleteAre you getting rid of your beige? I love that colour! I usually use off-whites, but I am thinking of doing a nice warm beige in my guest room, with white accents, just like your living room. David wants blue!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comments on my chandelier post. I am striving to become less of a spender and when I do spend, I want it to be on something beautiful that I (hope) will still love in several years. Classic never goes out of style!
Now...what colour are you doing????
xo Terri
Wish there were Fairy Dust.
ReplyDeleteIf there were. You would wake up tomorrow & all would be complete.
Ha, by the time we decide to do a project. WE ARE SERIOUS !!
Can't wait for more pics.
Garden & Be Well, XO Tara

Hi Janet,
ReplyDeleteYour living room is so beautiful. And your salon wall above the couch is what inspired me to do the one in our den! I am familiar with 'projects' and hope that soon, yours will be behind you so that you may sit back and enjoy! xoxoTrina
Good morning dear Janet, I was kind of missing you... Your livingroom is so cozy and lovely, I really love all your home. Be patience for the process of painting your room, it is going to be a very worth hard work, for sure. Please take some pics and show them to us.
