Love the hydrangeas and their pretty pink petals...but also LOVE your dining room. It is beautiful, you have a a great eye. Every nook is filled with beauty. ; ) Trina
Great chalkboard Janet!!! I was so waiting for a post of your home, it´s so, so lovely!!!!! Answering your questions: just checked my mail and haven´t got any mail from you... and yes I did all my garden with the help of a man that comes once in a week and it´s from November 2003. Do post more of your house and garden, I love to see your garden and home. Muchos cariños María Cecilia
Gorgeous! Your house is so lovely, one of my favorites ever in the blogosphere! So pure and clean and simple but elegant.
Is that cream or yellow paint in your dining room? Very pretty shade.
My hydrageas all froze 2 weeks ago when it snowed here. All the snow is gone again. We get erratic weather in the shadow of the Rockies. Glad you can enjoy your flowers!! I think I had about 4 blooms on each... ;(
Me again! Thanks so much for sending your paint colours - I am always curious what people are using, although the light varies so much. I can't use gray at all here - it looks wretched as much as I love it! Yes, I am genuinely inspired by your house and your lifestyle approach. I am so tired of clutter and am starting to hate spending money. I am starting to enjoy saving and re-purposing and only spending money slowly to replace the really old instead of just buying clutter. Your home is so pure. I would love to walk out of mine and in to yours! I know it must be a challenge, but I truly feel that discipline really makes you feel so good inside. Not wasting and not always wanting more feels so good. My eyes like pretty things, but I always feel better when I walk out of a store empty-handed these days, unless I am carrying flowers or good food or some gem I truly love.
Would you share the paint colors you've used in your home? I'm planning to paint the office and sitting room in shades of white and would love some input from you!

I love, love your pictures. I have always dreamed of having a second home, to run to and relax. Your pictures reflect what I would like that to be. I love to garden, but it is really difficult with the weather in Massachusetts and the animals eating everything after I plant it.
gorgeous! One of my Top 3 favorite flowers!
