    Janet, I don't think it bland at all, I think it is calming and soothing just as you want your bedroom to be! I do think a "pop" of color in the form of pillow/pillows on your bed would be a lovely addition! (2 flanking your monogramed pillow,which I love, or one long pillow that runs the width of your bed) Pick a color from your garden that you love... coral, orange, purple, soft pink and maybe in a linen/linen blend?!
