Hey guys, I survived. Did you? Boy it sure is a lot of work but most of it is fun. The clean-up not so much. Today I'm reviewing the last item from my gift box from Everlane.
These luxurious silk pj's in this pretty rose pink color are sooooo comfy. They are not the thin silk I'm used to. The silk is quite thick and dare I say sturdy, all while being delicate at the same time. These silk pajamas can only be purchased through my special link! They cannot be seen on the regular website. Today there is 2 day free shipping and with every purchase this Black Friday Weekend, Everlane will donate $15 to the OCEANA charity that is helping rid our oceans of plastic.
Watch this space because I plan to style and wear them out in public. They are completely opaque, have pockets and the bottoms are wide leg cropped. I want to wear them with black pumps and a big black coat over them! But today I'm inside doing laundry and putting everything away. I plan to watch a movie too.
In case you missed it I filmed a little video on Thanksgiving before everyone arrived...x
Love, love, love the video! I felt as if I was walking through your lovely home! You are always such an inspiration to me, as I have learned from you how to live simply- yet beautifully. Those pjs look so elegant and cozy; just like your home. Always look forward to your posts. Hope you are having a very relaxing day.
ReplyDeleteThe house tour!!!! LOOOOVE!!! And your reaction to the turkey too! Everything looked great and I’m sure everyone had a wonderful time. I have followed your blog for a long time, always so gracious and gentle. The pink pjs are darling. Can’t wait to see you model them with black high heels, great idea! Enjoy your relaxing weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove that you are having a pj day! So deserved after hosting your family dinner. It is a lot of work putting on a dinner like thanksgiving...attending to the small details takes creativity which you have in spades!

I love your house.
ReplyDeleteLoved the video! How does your kitchen look so neat with all the prep for dinner?!! The silk pj's are beautiful & I love your idea of wearing them "out"! You look wonderful! With the cold, rainy weather we've been having at the beach, it's cozy flannel pj's for me right now!! So glad your Thanksgiving went so well. xxoo Katie from Huntington Beach
ReplyDeleteYour house tour is beautiful! Would I ever like to stay at a Bed and Breakfast that looked just like your home- so peaceful and beautifully styled. So glad you survived Thanksgiving. I did too, and it was a lovely time with family, but I am enjoying the post-holiday tranquility now.

ReplyDeleteYou look quite elegant in your p.j.s, Janet. Your hair is perfect. I wish I could get my house so neat and clean. You are such a classy example for all of your readers! Have a nice, restful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love your house video! I watched it on you tube on my tv to look at every detail. You look great in your pretty pj's!
ReplyDeleteYour home is lovely. I'm still in the large suburban box house stage of life with five kids home sometimes but the next house will be historic and perfect. You've provided all sorts of inspiration for me! And those PJs! Adore. I can see wearing them out of the house. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLoved the tour, really gave me a feel for the cottage layout. The office turned sitting room is perfection, no actually, you sitting on that sofa in those pink pajamas with the pink flowers....now that is perfection.
