This is my favorite piece. Many of you have already told me you bought it and love it too. I've worn it only with sandals so far but today styled it with booties.
Gosh I've had these Steve Madden booties forever and they are still going strong. It seems he finally quit making them but These are almost identical.
I love the print, fabric and oversized nature of the dress. It looks and feels much more expensive than its $35 price tag.
Btw, I'm not sure you can tell or not but I'm using a remote clicker so I can take my own photos now! While Larry is resting I can stay busy but close by. The photos are somewhat blurry and I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong and will work it out soon.
Anyway this concludes my crazy talk re this collection. Thanks for listening. xo
oh SO CUTE!!! I mean really. like a character in a favorite book!
ReplyDeletewell. the heroine.
and the booties are perfect! just the right touch of jauntiness!
and I always wondered who was taking pictures of you! XOXO
wow. exclamation point overload. wonder if I used enough. LOL!!! three more for good measure.
Surely one of the world’s prettiest dresses. The modest price is a real surprise. Elegant details, pattern, color and cut - no wonder it’s your favorite. It looks beautiful on you.
ReplyDeleteLovely color on you.
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable. That is all. xo
ReplyDeleteI know, isn't she? Oh to have a blouse and/or dress make me as happy, and look at glamorous as yours have made you look and feel, I can't remember the last time I got a lift from something I put on, it must be time to change that! Now I'm off to investigate this remote clicker thing you used. xo
Deleteloving these florals and that you are posting more often! Best to you and Larry.

I love your posts anytime. They're refreshing! Love the dress and keep going back online admiring so many beautiful things. Keep them coming as you can.
ReplyDeleteOh Dear Janet! Stop the madness! I love the blouse in the prior post and just bought it. I don't need another piece of clothing but the price was too good to pass up. I can't figure out why that one was only $12.99 when the black one was $24.99. I hope it looks as good on me as it does on you. :o) Seriously how many 60 yo women can tuck in their tops!!! You are so tiny...anyway the dress is really pretty on you too. (it would wash me out) I know you bought a lot of pieces but the kimono is so beautiful, I could see it on you with your hair up. I can't wait to wear it. So yes now I am up to 3 pieces. But NO more. Sigh.

That dress is both feminine and playful but its the way you wear it too. You have a way. And THOSE boots. Nice pairing. To be able to play this way is a mirror for us all. And I love it. I think they call that intersubjectivity. So happy to see your posts any time as well. Yay for the remotely aided photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy thoughts, Eliz xo
