Yes, spread the love and the kindness!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Janet. I'm watching the news...stunned and sad. What the heck is going on in this world.....
ReplyDeleteThere's so much beauty in this world..lets spread it and share it. XO
I'm so saddened by the news recently, such cruelty. We all need to spread love & positivity! x
ReplyDeleteYes, let's spread our love and kindness! I am ready! And thanks for sharing the fun & happy colors from your gardens. They made me smile:)
ReplyDeleteAmen,sister.

Your roses are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on kindness and it would appear that we are in sync with out thoughts.
My last post was on stripes too.
Enjoy your weekend Janet.
As someone who lives near Boston and knows several people who were actually there and witnessed the explosion (not hurt, thankfully), I am at a loss for words. There is an emptiness, a hole inside. While I realize Evil exists in the world, I dislike being reminded and staring into it's face. I am going to take your advice; write a long over due letter to a dear friend, keep my loved ones close, and spend the weekend in my garden. Hopefully, it will help me see the face of Good again.

Beautiful sentiments and images. Claire xo
ReplyDeleteYeah, share the love and focus on more positive things! xxx
ReplyDeleteAll right. I will try. I might have to be the person smiling wanly in the corner, however, making sure to at least not be mean.
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet, some lovely, peaceful images that help on a day like today!
ReplyDeleteAll lovely. Just what I needed to see right now!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a beautiful table! I will be kind to everyone this weekend, even the people who don't know how to drive in the miserable traffic of Fort Worth!

Gorgeous!! I agree. Really the only power we have to combat such ugliness is to share love. Thanks for the beautiful photos. I posted about roses today too! We must be on a similar wavelength.
ReplyDeleteAmen, and yes, the first roses of the season are extra special...
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful roses and kind thoughts!
ReplyDeleteSounds good Janet. Our beautiful country needs some love right now. The new is heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love your roses. Gorgeous. A wonderful contrast to the madness going on in Boston. It is unimaginable.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I often say the world has gone mad. I sometimes think the world is full of cruelty but then I remember the kindness and humanity that exceeds that thought.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Janet. Your garden is so pretty! And yes that's a good idea to go out of our way to be kind. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose roses! Mine are just leafing up now.
ReplyDeleteCannot wait to live in SoCal :)
Sadly, the madness continues, but light always triumphs over darkness. Always.

ReplyDeletethat is how I remember your rose garden looking, how lovely.
ReplyDeleteI have felt v. emotional about all he sad things happening in the world too.
This is why small things like tending a garden, and cooking for family and seeing friends is so important. x

Hi Janet. So glad I ran into you at Trader Joe's the other day. Was having a rough day and you were very encouraging. Thank you for taking the time to stop and talk to me. I have started adding foods that heal to my diet and leaving out the many foods that are not healthy.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a beautiful weekend!

ReplyDeleteYour blog is a bright spot amidst the hatred and craziness in this world. I have to remind myself that there are way more good people out there than bad.

Your roses are so pretty. I'm checking every day to see how much my new tulips have grown. I just planted them last fall, so I'm excited to see what comes up. Things are crazy and it's so hard to take in. We so need to see beauty, do nice things for each other, and just be nice. We just have to be better, do better.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
So agree... let's all go out of our way to be kind - all those small random acts make such a difference. Love your stripes and your roses Janet... S xxx
