You live in such a lovely place! It's definitely snowy and Christmas-y like where I live. But I guess that's not such a bad thing :)

It all looks so dry, I'm so used to live in squelchy swamp conditions.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful skirt.
Are you tempting us with an apple from your garden of Eden?
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely place. I too like the fall colors but not raking leaves.
ReplyDeleteWhat a waist! :-o
ReplyDeletePretty much the same here in Northern California. I love your skirt!
ReplyDeleteI agree, late shopping rules.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful (and so do you). It must be almost impossible to think of Christmas if you're not freezing to death shrouded in coats and woollens! xxx
ReplyDeleteWe are headed to the big apple this weekend and hoping the cooler temps and city vibe will get us into the groove. The 80 degree temps here certainly aren't cutting it! Love your shoes!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you sweet friend.

It's so cold here in the UK Autumn feels like a distant memory
ReplyDeleteMy kids live in San Diego. We plan on moving there as soon as our place in OR is sold-cannot wait to have a mild X-mas season again ( we had 'em in TX and AUS as well...) Love your path through the trees BTW :)
ReplyDeleteI love your menswear-inspired outfit. You look absolutely smashing Janet. There is enough winter here in Calgary to put me in the Christmas spirit. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are still having fine weather! We had our first layer of snow today :-). It felt like Christmas already.
Have a lovely weekend!

A cool breeze fluttered in to our Brisbane Australia home (where it is close to 80 degrees here and getting hotter) when I saw your beautiful autumnal garden scene.... very refreshing.
ReplyDeleteA question - what camera do you use? Your photos are beautiful.
i use a very old, very heavy canon eos. and thank you:)
DeleteWhat a pretty , trim , little waist. Love your blog and look forward to your posts.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures....so glad you are enjoying autumn while it lasts and not rushing into the Christmas season. Love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't do to have a nice cup of tea (or coffee!) with you in that garden Janet!
ReplyDeleteThe image of the leaves, the leather belt, your wisp of a waist...
ReplyDeleteso graceful.

I love your garden Janet. And I agree with the commenter above: your photos are beautiful. I suspect it's the photographer more than the old Canon that has the skill...

Dear Janet,
ReplyDeleteI have recently discovered your blog, how wonderful it is. I am not very familiar with the blog world or with the computer for that matter but your blog makes me want to use the computer and explore. I love your style, your home decor and your simplicity. It is a great encouragement to see people trying to simplify in this day in age. By the way, this is the first time I comment on any blog and I have thought long and hard about it, but I had to let you know how wonderful it is that you have let us in your life. Thank you, Liz
thank you liz, so sweet.
DeleteJanet. This is one of my favorite posts ever. Love your photos. Gorgeous and you look so perfect for a RL ad. Ralph needs to hire you!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
