ReplyDeleteHello Janet;
ReplyDeleteThe calendar may say February and the temperature stays June but, whatever the season, this dress is hot. Palm Springs may be your destination and you are certainly living the part. Fabulous. Enjoy, enjoy!
Happy Anniversary you two!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in your tropical citrus themed maxi. Love seeing your DIY Kate Spade bag again. xo, A
Happy Anniversary!!! I don't know how you do it but the dress looks stunning on you! Oh, and the orange tree, perfect and so lovely.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best $2 ever spent. I love it - you look great. It makes me happy just to look at it, all that color and fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, Lovebirds!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that dress so much, it's just as well you like in the US or I'd steal it.
How fabulous does your weather look? I'm insanely envious.
Have the most brilliant celebration. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
PS Indian visa restrictions mean Brits can't live there for more than
6 months at a time. They had enough trouble trying to kick us out in 1947. x
I always enjoy your stylish outfits and the way you pose. Do you have someone taking your pictures or are you using a tripod and timer? I would appreciate any other tips you have for posing. My photos of myself turn out horrid. Help please.

Happy Anniversary! May you both have many more wonderful years together. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you both. I hope you are having a fun lunch in your dress, you are drop-dead California Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! You look fabuloous, as always!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! That dress would wear most people rather than the other way around.
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning! Happy Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteAnd from the looks of it, it's the year 1970 :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great, and I'm sure it looks better now in 2012 on you than it did when it cost more than $2.
I'm loving your fun new old colorful styles.
Happy anniversary. Have wonderful day.
Looove it, Happy anniversAry to you both. And yes you will be easily found, and will turn some heads too!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you both. Hope you enjoyed the day.
ReplyDeleteThe orange blossoms in the first photo are so pretty.
I am really ticked off that the consignment stores around here are such crap. Go have a fantastic anniversary lunch...I suspect, with that outfit, you'll get extra-attentive service from the staff. And wow your honey as always!
ReplyDeleteDerr, that would be the oranges in the first photo. Time for bed, it's been a long day....
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! I'm sure only you could pull this one off... it's so fabulous. and you look amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!!!!!
Congratulations on your anniversary! You look great.
ReplyDeleteI love the look. The dress reminds me a lot of this vintage dress I had in high school. My mom hated it!
ReplyDeleteThat is wowee fabulous and $2, wow, take me shopping!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time in Palm Springs, I'll let you know in advance if we plan on heading down your way.
Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThe colour, the warmth, the citrus - wow!
ReplyDeleteWishing you both a very happy anniversary.
Janet, You need to be on a plane to Hawaii with that beautiful dress. You rock girl. Smiles, Susie
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Janet and Larry.
ReplyDeleteThat dress does say "Holiday vacation in a hot spot" perfect for the desert. I can see you poolside sipping a cocktail!
BEAUTY-FUL! Beauty-FUL! Happy Anniversary!

I LOVE IT! I saw this peeping out in your closet post and now I know. So cool.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing and stylish. Best wishes for a lovely anniversary!
ReplyDeletePS Your blog is one of my favorites and I often re-read old posts. However, after the last three posts there has been an advertisement at the end. Wondering if others have this showing up too?
Sherry
I think I would like the dress shorter as it is a very large print. It is pretty.
ReplyDeletetraci, larry takes the pictures of all my outfits. sometimes he uses a tripod but mostly he doesn't. i wish i could give you some tips but i just basically stand there!
ReplyDeletesherry, i just recently signed up to have ads on my blog. they seem fairly unobtrusive and tasteful to me. i have to be careful b/c if i were to click one on, even by accident, google will disqualify me from their program!
ReplyDeleteYou look fab! I envy the fact that you can wear a sleeveless dress in February, while us Calgarians are bundled up in unflattering Canada Goose wear :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you match the trees! You look wonderful. As always.
ReplyDeleteHappy Big A Day as it is known in these parts!
ReplyDeleteWe might make you feel awesome but you always look awesome!
Smashing! Perfect for Palm Springs. have fun!
ReplyDeleteThe price of thrifted (down here we say Op shop) clothes in your town are great value Janet. Our cahrity stores have lost the plot and charge over the top prices these days. Very rarely does one happen upon a bargain.
ReplyDeleteI love the maxi. Perfect for an Anniversary.
xx
Happy Anniversary!! That dress is perfect for Palm Springs...have a great day. :)

Happy Belated Anniversary, Janet! I love the dress on you, and such a fantastic price for it, too! :)
ReplyDeleteYour weather is indeed very much like ours here. We will have temps close to 90 degrees today and tomorrow...apparently no spring for us this year.
This dress is so fantastic and you look great in it. I've been after a dress like this since I had one in Hawaii about 30 years ago. Mine was bright fushia and orange. Happy anniversary, hope you had as wonderful a time as you look!
