HI Janet. I love the little chart. Thanks. Weird question- what color white is on your walls? I am going WHITE WHITE WHITE and want something warm. Thanks.
ReplyDeletehi heather. i used benjamin moore simply white on everything. all walls and all woodwork.:)
DeleteThank you for taking the time to answer. I will investigate. :)
DeleteI just found your blog a couple of weeks ago and it's on my list of daily checks (my list is small). Thanks for all the great posts....love the jeans chart for today. Especially loved the packing for New York!
ReplyDeleteIt's taken me 40 years to find a pair of jeans that look good and fit right! It's a special day when I actually where them!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!!!
I've given up wearing jeans, I think I'm no longer a jean girl - gasp!
ReplyDeletenooooooooooooooooo!
DeleteIs it because you don't find them comfortable anymore? I found some great skinny grey jeans from Ann Taylor Loft that feel like sweatpants!
DeleteGorgeous illustrations and useful too - although I can't get rolling jeans right xo
ReplyDeleteF-me pumps; hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThe skinny jeans with boots is my personal fave :)

good to know! I'm not one for heels and jeans, but just in case...
ReplyDeleteWe're hunkering down for Hurricane Sandy here, she's moving in fast, so I thought I better catch up on my reads before power goes out. Maybe I'll model different looks of jeans and shoes by flashlight for my boys as entertainment :)
This is so true! Thanks for the great visual. Picking the right jeans shoe combo had me in a tizzy yesterday and everywhere I went I saw women who pulled if in ways I would love to. It was pretty sad actually. Got to find the right jeans!!
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me mad that I can't wear my suede knee boots with jeans because I don't look good in skinny jeans. I usually buy straight leg jeans (some are almost skinny but not quite skinny enough to stuff in boots). Great chart. We are also waiting for the storm (NE NJ). We've got some bad winds going on out there and a little rain so far. It's supposed to get alot worse by night.
ReplyDeleteWish it was over already. The next few days will be awful especially if we have no power.
Love those illustrations.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of once turned up with ballet flats.
Seriously when jeans were on my radar when I was 12 years old I never thought I'd still be wearing them in my late 50's!
Very cute. I'm living my day in skinny dark denims and a white blouse.
ReplyDeleteI pinned this recently too-even though I have worn jeans forever, it's a handy lil chart :)
ReplyDeleteToday is black skinnies, black/cream Gap striped tee, my red anorak and cheetah print flats-and one roll on my cuffs, of course :)
I am with Tabitha on this one. I only have one pair of jeans and wear them on Fridays because it is "jeans day" at work. Otherwise, I find that khakis or cargo pants are just as comfy.
ReplyDeletemy Mum wore skinny jeans rolled with flats yesterday! Visuals on blog xxx
ReplyDeleteTwo rolls with flats if you're a shorty like me (even when I wear petites!)
ReplyDeleteF-me pumps ? Good grief, I can't really see them in the picture but I certainly hope they're not like the ones I wear ALL THE TIME !! :)
ReplyDeleteThis (US/UK/AUS) chart seems to differ from CEE-styles.
ReplyDeleteboyfriend jeans did not make it here, nor did the rolled jeans.
It seems we are not on the jeans-band-waggon around here.
Today it's a fake-suede-mini skirt in mustard-beige for me, combined with boots and heels :-)
hi Janet!! Great chart. When I was a freshman in college we used to refer to those "Candies" heels (remember those?!) as KDFM's.... knock me down and f-me!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat reference since I practically live in jeans and own all but one style on the chart. Have you ever heard the old Amy Winehouse song "F-me Pumps? :)
ReplyDeleteLinda
xo
oh yes! you can't sit down right cause your jeans are too tight.
Deletegreat song!
What a cute little comic strip! I only own one pair of jeans (hand-painted bell bottoms) but they're too short to wear with platforms, what's a girl to do?
ReplyDeleteF@@k me Pumps was one of Amy's many masterpieces. xxx
I'm saving this. It's perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery helpful! I am pinning this one!!
