everlane drop shoulder tee review

The Drop Shoulder Tee is a great tee.  It's only the 2nd Everlane tee I've tried but I like it a lot. You can read my Ryan tee and tank review here.  If you recall my only issue with the Ryan was that I preferred to wear it backwards. You don't have to wear this one backwards:)  My favorite part about this tee is the sleeve.  It goes all the way down to the elbow and is finished with a nice wide hem. The bottom is finished with the same hem.  The neck is not huge either which is good if your decolletage looks anything like mine.  They call this color Clay but in real life it's a pretty brown.  I should have fancied up the styling here but I was in a hurry and honestly this is how I look most days.  I've washed the tee twice and hang to dry and it seems quite durable.  The cotton is even produced here in the USA.  I ordered a small and like the looser fit.

Other details...

The Madden Girl Krespo bootie is pretty much sold out everywhere but This boot, also made by Madden Girl is quite chic and on sale.  It's such a comfortable shoe if you are on your feet all day.

The handbag is also vegan, made by Deux Lux - similar here.   This handbag will last forever, it's so well made and does not look cheap/flimsy like some vegan handbags can.  It comes with a long detachable strap so you can wear it crossbody style if you want.  I wore it all through Europe and it was perfect for travel.

I was able to purchase this tee with credits I earned from you!  If you'd like to use my code here it is...

If you'd rather not, go directly to their website Here.  Everlane has really upped their game making beautifully made and downright luxurious clothing but still keeping the price low because they've cut out the middleman.  If you'd like to read about how the tee's are made, click here.  It's pretty impressive.

So that's it.  Happy Friday to you all, enjoy your weekend.  I'll be working.  x

    2. @t - I wear 14-16 and the Large tees fit. They are still a bit loose as well.

  3. I like the details and design of the tee. Your bag looks great too. I am using a small Mulberry leather (not vegan) backpack these days. I love the hands free option for all the walking. I would love a vegan option but so many of the bags I have seen do look shoddy. Perhaps you could do a post on quality vegan bags? You know so much about ethical living you might be able to steer your readers to better choices.
    Enjoy your weekend Janet!

  6. Oh I like this one so much, it's really a polished looking tee shirt. The colour is so gorgeous on you, looks great with the outfit.
I'm planning to order some Everlane shirts in January when I'll be enjoying the sun in Palm Beach, and avoiding importing them into Canada... so I really appreciate your reviews Janet, thank you. Have a great weekend DollFace XOX

  7. Such a good color for you. I like it with your hair! Which surprises me because generally this is not a color I enjoy. Your house makes a fab backdrop for it.

  8. After your post on Everlane, I ordered 2 long sleeve tees, white & nutmeg, & a lightweight crew neck sweater in a gray tweed look. The nutmeg tee is a nice brown just a bit darker than yours. My look for winter is jeans, turtleneck, sweater & vest. I only wear a coat if it's in the single digits & I have to pump gas! I love the items I've purchased from them so far, & feel you can't beat their prices for the quality. I also loved the followup email after I made my first purchase. I will definitely get new tees from them for next summer.

Thanks so much Janet for recommending them. I did tell Everlane I learned about them from you, so I hope you got credit for it. They assured me you would. :-)

And I agree that t should give the large size a try. I usually take a small & ordered x-small from your recommendation...I still find the garments nice & roomy in a good way.

  9. Thanks for sharing about your shoes. I, too, am on my feet so much, especially on Sundays (church pastor!). Some Sundays I walk over 2 miles just inside my church building and at the end of the day my feet are killing me. I'm also vegan, so am constantly searching for professional, stylish, comfortable vegan shoes. I ordered the boots you mention - I'd love any suggestions of other shoes/brands that you can stand in for a long time. I always appreciate the deep joy and reverence for life you share on your blog.

    1. thank you tera. i'm always on the lookout for comfy and quiet shoes too. if the boots turn out to feel good then i'd keep with that madden girl brand because i find that they pretty much all fit alike in that line. for my feet to be comfortable all day i need a bit of a heel because i have a high arch so sometimes flats are the least comfy for me. x

    2. Those boots are amazing! I can walk and walk, and stand and stand, in them. Hallelujah! I'll look for a more worship-appropriate shoe from them. Thank you!
