I thought I'd share a few photos with you. As I said in my last post about being busy, that is still happening. My work situation has changed a bit and I'm getting situated in a new room and that takes time. I'm pretty excited about my new assignment and I'll share more about that with you later.
A small outdoor gathering we had this weekend.
A glimpse of Alex and B's living room
The newest addition to our big fat dysfunctional family. :) Lily.
A corner of my new room.
See you all soon when hopefully I'll have something riveting to say. Don't hold your breath. x
Very nice article with beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your experience with us.
Hello, Lily! If you end up as cute as the toddler who shares your name and accompanies our pals to Glastonbury every year then your big family will be hugely proud of you.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. xxx

Very sweet - Lily :-)
ReplyDeleteWelcome Lily....a sweet little girl. Aren't all families a bit dysfunctional?
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks lovely and fortunately the weather makes it easy to be outdoors....it's getting much too cold for al fresco dining here. But I suppose we could use our new greenhouse as it is currently empty!
Lily is adorable! Hope to see more of her home after the renovation.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your sense of humor. All that style, a beautiful new baby, and the "big fat dysfunctional family." I mean, it makes your gentle voice and peaceful style all the more appealing to hear that you suffer the same slings and arrows as anyone.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and charming post. Lily is so precious- love those chubby thighs! Alex & B have a lovely home, I particularly like the rustic yet refined touches (those old stools, the antique coffee table/books, gorgeous rug)- hope we see more. And, I noticed a Ralph Lauren book- is it your beloved one?
ReplyDeletethank you dana. no that is his own copy. he bought me mine when he worked at RL. :)

I can't wait to hear more! Lily's a cutie! Your garden looks great given the drought.
ReplyDeleteYou are totally back in your groove, with full force! Looking forward to hearing about your new job adventure, and that sweet Lily is a cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteCute baby! Regarding the decanters in your first photo, if they are lead crystal, please do not use them to store liquids for any length of time because of the danger of harmful amounts of lead leaching into the liquid. I learned this recently after purchasing a Polish lead crystal whiskey decanter, which now sits empty.
ReplyDeleteOh Janet, what a lovely Lily.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely reminder of potential and love and unconditional care and loving.
Enjoy life : )

Their house looks amazing! I remember the shots of B. diy-ing while pregnant. And those legs. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHello Lily I love your chair
ReplyDeleteLove you mirror, your blog inspires me to add more serenity to my home. Thank you, Nina.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet- I'm wondering how to contact you by email? I would love for you to be my decorator. I live in LA. Hopefully not too far for you. I also wanted you to know that you did inspire me to finally go vegan. 6 months now and my family too.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you can see my email when I post this comment? Thanks, Julie
